My Journey with a Serious Amazon Affiliate site.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From Mark @
So, I’m gonna start a serious Amazon Affiliate site. I’m tired of trying to make GTA money. I’ve tried putting generic Amazon links on different sites before. I’ve never done anything serious though with an Amazon Affiliate site. I picked a niche that I’m familiar with 40k company. The niche has basically unlimited content. Looks like medium difficulty. About half a million hits on average for various long tail terms. Seems to be a cult like following for this niche. So, I’m sure there will be a lot of targeted long tail searches. This is a serious project. I’ve long wanted to dabble seriously with the Amazon Affiliate system.

My main goal is to rank for a some long tail keywords. This I would imagine would generate some adsense revenue along with maybe a sporadic amazon commission. So thats my work flow.
In order of strategic precedence:
1.) Rank Keywords for SEO for the niche to pass juice around.
2.) Adsense money
3.) Amazon money
I put the domain as a sub domain, store.website. 40k store here .I’m looking to bounce traffic back and forth with the TLD. I also have some other sub niche sites cosplay store in the main niche I can utilize down the road.
I’m basically using the product review method. With spun reviews. They are blatantly spun so I toned down the text color a little. You can see it but I want the people to be looking at the pictures. I don’t want to handle any product at this point(maybe later). So, I’m using the redirect method and just redirecting to my Serious Amazon Affiliate site affiliate link for that product. I am putting “out of stock Amazon” in all the product links. As far as I understand as long as you have Amazon in the link title its cool for this Serious Amazon Affiliate site?
I have several other web 2.0’s ,as mentioned that have a tertiary relationship to this sub niche. So I’m gonna work on creative link building strategies to get the juice rollin along. I have so far put one link in a crappy spot that no human would go to. I did get hit with a Google bot so it might be indexed already. I’m gonna start funneling some bot traffic to it here after I optimize some keywords.
So far I have 4 product reviews up maybe about 1,000 words or so. The page UX is horrible with the stock woocommerce template, so I’m gonna work on that next. Gonna fill up the front page so maybe 12 products all together. Gonna put some Web 3.0 goodies on there Chat Bot / Virtual Avatar, etc.
Maybe a timed redirect after 120 seconds?
Any whos it. Thought I would share my Journey with my Serious Amazon Affiliate site . I would like to update every week starting tomorrow.
Any feed back is appreciated. I’m always willing to learn new stuff so if any one has any cool methods or techniques please share.
So back in the Grind for another week. I spent time on the Back Linking Infrastructure of the Greater Niche last week. I also cleaned up the Front end UI / UX of the Amazon Affiliate / Store Page and posted about 12 spun reviews for the products. I’ve been writing my own WordPress Populator Script Bot in Python / Selenium in Parallel with this Serious Project. So I had about 90 Products with Repetitive info that I just ended up Deleting.
Yesterday I actively funneled some traffic to my first Serious Amazon Affiliate Site I made a week ago. Think I was at 28 Unique visits so far today.
