What the heck is a fricken WEB 3.0?
Their’s no official WIKI for WEB 3.0 at this time that I can find. The phrase “Web 2.0” was initiated back in 2003 by Dale Dougherty, Vice President at O’Reilly Media, which became wildly popular in 2004. If the next fundamental epoch happened in roughly the same time frame, we should have stepped into WEB 3.0 sometime in 2015. This is distinct from the origin of the web (WEB 1.0). That was a static info dump where the user read a website but rarely interacted with it.
If we further delve into the essence of epoch change between WEB 1.0 and WEB 2.0, we have our answer. WEB 3.0 is the next logical epoch. This changes both the way websites are created and more profoundly, how the user interacts with them.
I was checking one of the SERPS one day. I found one of my blogs and noticed I forgot to set the Meta data for site description. The page description was my IBM Watson API Chat Bot’s introduction. Static meta descriptions of web sites are so WEB 2.0 now.
